The WagTime Model

Built on Structure

WagTime operates through a defined, neighborhood-based service model designed to protect reliability, consistency, and safety. Our approach is intentional. Care is never improvised. It is built through standards.

Certified Care Companions

Every WagTime Care Companion completes a structured certification process before serving independently in a neighborhood. Certification includes:

  • canine body language assessment
  • environmental awareness training
  • pressure-aware handling
  • safety protocols
  • professional documentation standards
  • supervised field experience

Only after certification is complete is a Care Companion assigned to serve a defined area. This protects service quality across every neighborhood we enter.

Movement Zone Assignment

WagTime does not operate as a rotating service. Whenever possible, the same Care Companion serves the same households within a neighborhood. This ensures:

  • familiar handling
  • predictable scheduling
  • reduced travel gaps
  • stronger caregiver relationships
  • calmer dogs

Dogs thrive on familiarity. Structure builds trust.

Oversight & Accountability

Care Companions operate under leadership oversight to maintain consistent standards across all Movement Zones™. Every visit is documented. Every assignment is structured. Every neighborhood is intentionally managed.

Care is not accidental. It is built through standards.

Safety-First Handling & Meticulous Documentation

We prioritize relationship-based care through transparent communication and a structured approach to every stroll completed.

At WagTime, our employee-trained Care Companions provide comprehensive digital reports for every stroll completed. We track health indicators, behavior insights, and successful return signatures, ensuring you stay connected to your dog's experience across Fredericksburg and surrounding Movement Zones. This rigorous documentation protocol reflects our commitment to safety-first handling and caregiver consistency.
